Korea - a jam-packed day !

What an adventurous, visual and delicious day!   It all started with a trip to the 'weekend' market.   This was a .. farmer's market, flea market, and garage sale .. all rolled into one!    Stalls and blankets and tables of goods were everywhere! Probably 400-500 vendors selling anything and everything.   Antiques Roadshow would have had a field day with a lot of these ancient Asian treasures. Here's Jon and Salli  before heading downhill. "Hwanghak" market : Then we headed over to a very popular tourist attraction .. the "Gwangjang" food market .. yummy .. must've been over 200 food vendors :   we stopped at several and tried different tasty morsels, and watched some school girls giggling and trying to eat a bowl of octopus - all cut up and still squiggling around ! Korea Travel Day

28 hours later .. thought I'd post this before crashing .. Used LYFT for the 1st time to get to PDX, worked well.   Flight delayed in taking off due to SeaTac being very busy.   Once @ SeaTac, it was confusing how to get over to the international "S" terminals.  Good thing I had a nice chat with the Alaska ticket agent in Portland, cause there were several of us moving from the north shuttle train to the south shuttle train to find our gate.   AND, once there .. needed to get another boarding pass. Finally .. at the gate, and our Boeing 777-300 awaits.   Matt said it's only 3-yrs old. It's HUUUUGE!    There were about 20 stewardesses waiting for cleaning to be finished. Very smartly dressed, hair all done the same.    I wished I would've taken a picture.
